“How to Enjoy Christmas” – December 18th, 2019
Dear Church Family,
Sometimes what we need in life is a fresh perspective. For instance, at times we need to look at our job from a different angle. It provides for my family. My immediate supervisor is a great person. The commute is not bad. I get off all major holidays. A fresh perspective can help us have a renewed enthusiasm for our vocation, which can make all the difference in the world.
The same can be said about celebrating Christmas. On Sunday morning we will be looking at Luke 2:36-38. The title of the message is “How to Enjoy Christmas.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are Psalm 105:4, Daniel 9:3, and Acts 8:4-8. Christmas songs should also bless each heart as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.
On Sunday evening we will worship the Lord as the beautiful cantata, “ Holy Child” is presented. It should be a wonderful day. Until Sunday, may your perspective of Christmas renew your enthusiasm for Jesus.
Because of Him,
Pastor Joe
