Dear Church Family, The motives behind any action are important. We can receive a gift from someone that is motivated because they are grateful for something we have done for them or because they are buttering us up for a new request. We can go on vacation because we need some rest or because we can’t wait to get away from someone in our life. The possibilities are endless. In short, motives do matter. On Sunday morning we will be studying Matthew 6:1-4. “Love your Enemy” – April 7th, 2021
Dear Church Family, God’s word has a way of showing us how short we fall of perfection. Jesus seems to specialize in this matter. Few statements illustrate how adept He is at shining the light on our imperfections than the command, “love your enemies.” On Sunday morning we will be looking at Matthew 5:43-48. The title of the message is “ Love your Enemy.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in the word of God are Galatians 5:13, Proverbs 24:28-29, and Proverbs 25:21-22.
