“Sliding Down the Slope of Sin” – January 15th, 2025
Dear Church Family, I grew up in a suburb of Pittsburgh called Penn Hills. Not surprisingly we lived at the top of a long, steep hill. While growing up, the hill did not pose a problem until a ball started to roll down the hill. The key to catching up to the ball was to nab it before it picked up too much speed. The further down the hill the ball went the harder it was to catch up to it. The same is true in the spiritual life of an individual or a nation. On Sunday we will be looking at Romans 1:24-32. The title of the message is “Sliding Down the Slope of Sin.” Other verses that will prepare you for this remarkably pertinent passage are Genesis 34:30-31, I Corinthians 6:9-10, and Ephesians 4:17-19. Dear Church Family, When are parents aloud to get mad? Are parents every aloud to get mad? Even more importantly is God loud to get mad and if so when? On Sunday morning we will begin looking at the theological arguments of the Book of Romans. Our passage is Romans 1:17-23.
