“The Plight of Religious Man” – February 26th, 2025

Dear Church Family, Being raised in a good, Bible believing home and church is a blessing and a responsibility. It’s a blessing to be exposed to truth and to see it lived out before our eyes. It is a responsibility because “to whom much has been given much is also required.” On Sunday morning we will continue our study in the book of Romans. Our text is Romans 2:17-29. The sermon title is “The Plight of Religious Man.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are Jeremiah 4:4, 2 Corinthians 3:6-7, and I John 2:15-17. May the Lord meet each one of us through the music, preached Word, and interaction with one another. Have a blessed day and rest of the week. You are loved by Jesus more that you could know. In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...

“Praying for the Will of God” – February 5th, 2025

“Praying for the Will of God” – February 5th, 2025

Dear Church Family, There are a number of choices in life that we can make on our own. We can decide what shirt to wear each morning, what time to get up on our day off, and where to buy razor blades. There is no need to seek God’s will in any of those choices. However, I have seen countless times where followers of Jesus have choices that should drive to them pray that God would direct them into His perfect will and yet they think that they can decide on their own what to do to their own peril. On Sunday we will take a week out of our study of the book of Romans. The title of the message is “Praying for the Will of God.” Our text is Colossians 1:9-10. Other verses that will prepare you for our  time in God’s Word are Psalm 32:8-9, Psalm 143:10, and Romans 12:1-2. I believe that this message is relevant to all that call upon the name of the Lord. May the Lord fill you with the knowledge of His will today and always. Enjoy Jesus! In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...

“The Principles of Divine Judgement” – January 30th, 2025

Dear Church Family, It is an axiomatic truth that everyone will be judged and yet we all at times live as though we will not be judged. Perhaps it’s because we aren’t judged right away or that we think that we are doing better than we really are. The divine Judge will judge nonetheless. On Sunday we will be looking at Romans 2:6-11. The title of the message is “Divine Principles of Judgment.” Other verses that will prepare your heart for the message are Provers 24:11-12, Ecclesiastes 13:13-14,  and Revelation 19:1-2. I am looking forward to sharing with you on Sunday morning. May the Lord enable you to live in light of the Judgment Seat of Christ. God bless you, keep you, and may His face shine upon you! Because of Jesus, Pastor...

“Sliding Down the Slope of Sin” – January 15th, 2025

“Sliding Down the Slope of Sin” – January 15th, 2025

Dear Church Family, I grew up in a suburb of Pittsburgh called Penn Hills. Not surprisingly we lived at the top of a long, steep hill. While growing up, the hill did not pose a problem until a ball started to roll down the hill.  The key to catching up to the ball was to nab it before it picked up too much speed. The further down the hill the ball went the harder it was to catch up to it. The same is true in the spiritual life of an individual or a nation. On Sunday we will be looking at Romans 1:24-32. The title of the message is “Sliding Down the Slope of Sin.” Other verses that will prepare you for this remarkably pertinent passage are Genesis 34:30-31, I Corinthians 6:9-10, and Ephesians 4:17-19.  May the Lord’s Word not return to Him void this Sunday morning. God bless you as you strive to walk with Him avoiding the down grade. Have a wonderful day! In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...
