“Praying for the Will of God” – February 5th, 2025

“Praying for the Will of God” – February 5th, 2025

Dear Church Family, There are a number of choices in life that we can make on our own. We can decide what shirt to wear each morning, what time to get up on our day off, and where to buy razor blades. There is no need to seek God’s will in any of those choices. However, I have seen countless times where followers of Jesus have choices that should drive to them pray that God would direct them into His perfect will and yet they think that they can decide on their own what to do to their own peril. On Sunday we will take a week out of our study of the book of Romans. The title of the message is “Praying for the Will of God.” Our text is Colossians 1:9-10. Other verses that will prepare you for our  time in God’s Word are Psalm 32:8-9, Psalm 143:10, and Romans 12:1-2. I believe that this message is relevant to all that call upon the name of the Lord. May the Lord fill you with the knowledge of His will today and always. Enjoy Jesus! In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...
