Dear Church Family, We all love good news. Everyone loves a raise, a good report from our doctor, an answer to prayer, and the healthy arrival of a baby. We generally associate good news with the gospel of Jesus Christ, but His birth was good news as well. On Sunday morning we will look at Isaiah 8:21-9:4. Dear Church Family, One of the core values of my parents was to not do things half- heartedly. My father was a custom tailor so precision and excellence were high on his list of virtues. Dear Church Family, One of the things that I like to kid my family about is how underrated I am. I say it in jest, but when timed right, that statement can give rise to laughter and humorous responses. I’m not underrated, but it’s sure fun to say that I am. Dear Church Family: Introductions can be enjoyable, nerve racking, or significant. How we introduce ourselves or how others introduce us can get a new relationship off to the right start or off to the wrong start. Introductions are underrated in terms of their importance. On Sunday morning we will begin our study in the book of Romans. Paul introduces himself to the church of Rome. Out text is Romans 1:1-2.
