“The Master’s Teaching Methods” – January 25th, 2023

Dear Church Family, Teaching is an interesting activity. It sometimes takes a decade or two to see the fruit of one’s efforts. In others instances fruit is born quickly. Everyone is a teacher to some degree in one way or another. On Sunday morning we will be looking at Matthew 16:5-12. The title of the message is “The Master’s Teaching Methods.” Other verses that will prepare you for time in God’s word are Nehemiah 13:23-27, Luke 12:1,  and Galatians 5:7-9. May the Lord use His word to nudge us towards His Son, Jesus. Have a blessed day and may you never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. “Bad Candidates for Salvation” – January 18th, 2023

“Bad Candidates for Salvation” – January 18th, 2023

Dear Church Family, When someone is applying for a job and has little or no chance to secure the position, we would say that he is a bad candidate for the opening. When there is someone running for office and he has some major flaws, he is known as a bad political candidate. There is little hope for success in both situations. The same can be said of some people when it comes to knowing Jesus. On Sunday morning we will be looking at Matthew 16:1-4. The sermon title is “Bad Candidates for Salvation.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s word are Exodus 16:16-20,  John 8:42-43, and Acts 8:9-21. I pray that the Lord will meet us in every aspect of our worship services. Have a blessed day and thank the Lord that your name is written in the book of life. In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...

“The Mother Who Wouldn’t Let Go” – January 4th, 2023

“The Mother Who Wouldn’t Let Go” – January 4th, 2023

Dear Church Family, Persistence is a marvelous quality. The capacity to keep on when others have long given up has changed the course of history and the trajectory of peoples’ lives. It’s natural to be inspired by persistence, especially when it is expressed for the care or good of another. On Sunday we will be looking at Matthew 15:21-28. The title of the message is “The Mother Who Wouldn’t Let Go.” The qualities that we identify are true for anyone who perseveres in behalf of another. Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s word are Isaiah 57:15, Psalm 95:6-7, and Mark 11:24. May the good Lord bless our time together. May you also experience the power of persistence as you persevere on behalf of others. May God bless you and keep you! In His Grip, Pastor...

“Falling In Love With Tradition: Part I” – November 30th, 2022

“Falling In Love With Tradition: Part I” – November 30th, 2022

Dear Church Family, Traditions can be wonderful. When I was young, we always spent Christmas Eve with my grandparents on my father’s side and Christmas Day with my mother’s side of the family. My great uncle lived in a house that was full of character and a great place to celebrate Christmas. The memories are warm and sweet. Church traditions can be wonderful or hinder the work of Jesus. On Sunday morning we will be looking at Matthew 15:1-9. The title of the sermon is “Falling In Love With Tradition: Part I.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are Jeremiah 36:20-24, Proverbs 20:20, and Ezekiel 33:31. I am looking forward to being with you on Sunday morning. May your heart love the Lord more than any man made tradition this Christmas season. God bless you and have a great day! Because of Jesus., Pastor...

“Conquering the Willful Heart” – November 22nd, 2022

“Conquering the Willful Heart” – November 22nd, 2022

Dear Church Family, There are times in my life when I know what is right, do what is right, but wish in my heart that I didn’t have to do it. Obligatory obedience is better than disobedience but falls short of God’s desire for us. On Sunday we will be returning to Matthew’s gospel. Our text is Matthew 14:22-33. The title of the message is “Conquering the Willful Heart.” Other verses that will prepare you for this extremely interesting passage are Habakkuk 3:17-18, Isaiah 43:1-2, and Acts 23:10-11. May the Lord bless our time together on Sunday. A grateful heart is of inestimable value. May the Lord grant you one this holiday season. God bless you and have a wonderful day! In His Abundant Grace, Pastor...
