“The Lord’s Marching Orders: Part I” – October 16th, 2024

Dear Church Family, Many activities and projects require adequate preparation if we are to be successful. We must prepare any surface before we paint the surface. We should prepare ourselves for a busy day with a good night’s rest. The same can be said about preparing to do the Lord’s work. On Sunday will be looking at Matthew 28:16-18. The title of the message is “The Lord’s Marching Orders: Part I.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are I Chronicles 29:10-14, Psalm 45:10-11, and Colossians 1:16-19. “Responding to the Resurrection of Jesus.” – October 2nd, 2024

“Responding to the Resurrection of Jesus.” – October 2nd, 2024

Dear Church Family, I have wanted to say, “you had to be there” numerous times over the years. I refrain since that only means that I didn’t connect with the person or audience and that I can’t hope to do so if I try again. So I just let it go. The same can be said of countless Bible stories. You had to be there to fully appreciate the creation of the universe, the feeding of the 5000, and, yes, the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. On Sunday morning we will be looking at Matthew 28:1-10. The title of the message is “Responding to the Resurrection of Jesus.” Other verses that will prepare you for the first message in the last chapter of Matthew are Psalm 16:9-10, Luke 24:36-37, and Romans 8:29. May the Lord help us be there even though we weren’t there. May God bless you richly as you walk with the resurrected Christ. Because He Lives, Pastor...

“The Father’s Response to the Death of His Son.” – September 18th, 2024

Dear Church Family, How people respond to us is revealing and part of what makes  who we are and become. Friends, family, teachers, and coaches all have a part in making us into who we are. Few people have more influence in our lives than a father and his response to us. On Sunday morning we will be looking at Matthew 27:51-53. The title of the message is “The Father’s Response to the Death of His Son.” Other verses that will prepare you for this interesting passage are Job 19:25-26, Isaiah 26:19, and Romans 5:2. May the Lord grant us a sweet time together in His Word. My prayer for you is that you will enjoy His presence today as a foretaste of what it will be like in heaven. May His face shine upon you!
