ALL SERVICES & ACTIVITIES CANCELLED FOR SUN., MAR. 15TH!

ALL SERVICES & ACTIVITIES CANCELLED FOR SUN., MAR. 15TH!

Dear Church Family, In order to help slow down the infection so as to not overwhelm our healthcare system to the point that they will not be able to provide medical services to all those who become seriously ill Canton Grace will not be having services or activities Sunday March 15th. We also are concerned that some people will likely come to church who should not, thereby exposing themselves or perhaps exposing others to the virus. We also hope that this decision will help relieve our dear people in the church family from having to make the decision themselves. Please be in prayer for our health workers, public servants, elderly, and physically struggling folks in the church family. We have many who fall into one of these categories. I love coming to church and will miss not worshipping and being together with you. God bless you and keep trusting in Jesus. In His Omnipotant Hands, Pastor...

Sunday’s message title is “Core Value #1 – Worship.” A few verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are Luke 10:38-42, Matthew 6:24, and John 4:21-24. I am looking forward to starting our 5 week core value series on Sunday. On Sunday evening at 7:00 we will celebrate what the Lord has done at Canton Grace during our Moving Forward Meeting. “The Leader’s Perspective on His Peoples’ Giving” – February 27th, 2020

Dear Church Family, Giving to the Lord’s work has gotten a bad name in recent years. Giving in evangelical churches has fallen in recent decades for a number of reasons. One of those reasons is that a number of spiritual leaders have a twisted view of giving. On Sunday morning we will complete our study of the book of Philippians. Our passage is Philippians 4:14-20. The title of the message is “The Leader’s Perspective on His Peoples’ Giving.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are 2 Corinthians 8:1-5, I Chronicles 29:1-9, and Acts 20:35. I am looking forward to sharing with you on Sunday morning. May the Lord bless you richly for the rest of this week. Have a wonderful day in Him. Because of Jesus, Pastor...

“Our Thinking and the Peace of God” – February 12th, 2020

“Our Thinking and the Peace of God” – February 12th, 2020

Dear Church Family, Some have said, “We are what we eat.” In other words, over a period of time our health is to a large extent determined by the food that we consume. The Bible says, “ As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” In other words, our thoughts show who we are and largely determine our spiritual and moral lives over a period of time. Make no mistake about it, the quality of our thoughts will determine the quality of our living. On Sunday morning we will be examining Philippians 4:8-9. The title of the message is “Our Thinking and the Peace of God.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are Isaiah 26:3, JOhn 17:17, and Ezekiel 14:3. I am very much looking forward to our time together on Sunday morning. May your heart be filled with God’s peace as you think about Him. God bless you and have a Christ-filled day! In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...
