“I’ve Got Authority, Now What?” – March 13th, 2019

“I’ve Got Authority, Now What?” – March 13th, 2019

Dear Church family, Order is a wonderful thing. Order in our life provides stability, peace of heart, direction, and a sense of purpose as we play our role in society, work, our family, and church. Without order life simply does not function properly. That is why it is essential that we exercise authority properly and submit to authority in our lives. On Sunday we will be looking at 2 Corinthians 10:7-11. The message title is “ I’ve Got Authority, Now What?” Other verses that will prepare you for out time in God’s word are I Corinthians 4:18-21, Philemon 8-9, and Galatians 1:1. I am excited about sharing God’s Word with you on Sunday. May you experience God’s peace and direction as you submit to His authority today. God bless you and have a wonderful day! “Spiritual Weapons for Spiritual Battles” – March 6th, 2019

“Spiritual Weapons for Spiritual Battles” – March 6th, 2019

Dear Church Family, We have all been in situations where we have tried to talk to someone who is dead wrong. They may be wrong about what they believe about salvation. They may be wrong about their belief in how a relationship should work. They may be wrong about their opinion about us. Talking to them is like talking to a brick wall. How do we handle such a situation? On Sunday we will be examining 2 Corinthians 10:1-5. The message title is “ Spiritual Weapons for Spiritual Battles.” Other verses that will be helpful in preparing you for our time in God’s Word are Isaiah 31:1, Jeremiah 23:29, and Jeremiah 33:3. I am looking forward to sharing this important message with you. We will be having a Moving Forward meeting on Sunday at 7:00 pm. I am looking forward to seeing many of you on Sunday. “Praising the Goodness of God” – February 27th, 2019

“Praising the Goodness of God” – February 27th, 2019

Dear Church Family, God’s goodness is an attribute that we can take for granted. We go through life and we often don’t see that “every good gift and every perfect gift comes from above.” A grateful heart leads to many virtues and an ungrateful heart leads to many vices. Cultivating a thankful heart, therefore, is of extreme importance. On Sunday we will take a week out of the book of 2 Corinthians. Our text is Colossians 1:12-14. The message title is “ Praising the Goodness of God.” Other passages that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are Psalm 103:1-5, I Thessalonians 5:16-18, and Psalm 89:15-18. I am looking forward to raising our grateful hearts to our worthy God. May your heart be full of thanksgiving today. God bless you and keep your eyes on Jesus. In His Marvelous Name, Pastor...

Dear Church Family, Keeping our promises is an important virtue to possess. No one can hold us accountable like our kids who will without hesitation remind us, “ But dad, you promised!” Sometimes it is a challenge to be true to our word because events have unfolded which makes it a real sacrifice to follow through. This Sunday morning we will be looking at 2 Corinthians 9:1-5. The title of the message is “ Those Enthusiastic Promises.” Other verses that will prepare your heart for our time in God’s Word are Psalm 15:1-4, Ecclesiastes  5:4-5, and Psalm 24:4-5.
