“The Qualities of People God Uses” – December 12th, 2018

Dear Church Family, One of the longings in the heart of a genuine follower of the Lord Jesus Christ is that he or she desires to be used by the Lord. Gratitude fills the heart of a genuine disciple of Jesus. This leads to wanting to give oneself to be His servant who effectively extends and strengthens His kingdom. This week we will be looking at Matthew 4:18-22 in the traditional service. The message title is “The Qualities of People God Uses.” Other verses that will prepare our first service attendees for our time in God’s Word are Hebrews 4:5, Isaiah 6:6-7, and Matthew 26:69-75. I am sure that you will be encouraged by our time in God’s Word. In the contemporary service we will be enjoying the children’s Christmas program. Sunday should be another great day! Until then. May God bless you and use you for HIs glory. In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...

“Opening Another’s Closed Heart” – November 29th, 2018

“Opening Another’s Closed Heart” – November 29th, 2018

Dear Church Family, Relationships can be rewarding and difficult. Years ago a teacher once was given this advice regarding how to deal with a problem relationship, “ This best advice that I can give you is to move towards your problem.” Though not easy to apply, that usually is very good counsel. What do we do when someone has closed their heart and affections towards us? On Sunday morning we will be looking at 2 Corinthians 7:2-4. The message title is “ Opening Another’s Closed Heart.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are Philippians 1:7-8, 2 Corinthians 7:14, and I Samuel 12:1-5. May the good Lord bless our time of worship together. This Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 Melinda and I invite the entire church family to our Christmas open house. We would love to have you stop in to our home. Until this weekend, may you stay open to others and especially the Lord Jesus Christ. Because of Him, Pastor...

“A Call to Holy Living: Part II” – November 21st, 2018

Dear Church Family, Boy, it’s hard to be human, isn’t it? We don’t always understand the way we should understand. We don’t always love the way we should love. We don’t always say what we should say or do what we should do. In short we are remarkably imperfect. That is why we need God’s grace and a commitment to personal holiness. This Sunday morning we will be examining 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1. The message title is “ A Call to Holy Living: Part II.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are Matthew 6:24, I Thessalonians 5:23, and Isaiah 52:10-11. It will be a joy to be with you  on Sunday morning. There will be no Wednesday evening services tonight as we prepare for Thanksgiving with loved ones. Until Sunday, may your heart be full of thanksgiving as you pursue Him. With a Thankful Heart, Pastor...

“Loving Others Deeply” – November 8th, 2018

“Loving Others Deeply” – November 8th, 2018

Dear Church Family, It is hard to know why some relationships work well and others don’t. There are several factors to consider. One reason that a relationship may not be working is that one person wants to have a closer relationship than the other. The latter can be holding back for one of several reasons. How does the person who is looking for a closer relationship respond? In 2 Corinthians 6:11-13 we see how the apostle Paul handled that challenge with the church in Corinth. Our Sunday message is titled, “ Loving Others Deeply.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are Song of Solomon 1:15-16, I Kings 4:29, and Philippians 1:8. I trust that you will benefit from our time in God’s Word. On Sunday evening we will be enjoying a Moving Forward Meeting where the 2019 budget and goals for 2019, 2020, and 2021 will be discussed. We hope to see you there. Until Sunday, God bless you and have a great day! In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...
