“The Love of God and the Cross of Christ” – September 11th, 2024

“The Love of God and the Cross of Christ” – September 11th, 2024

Dear Church Family, One of the characteristics of God that we don’t think much about is that He is a God who communicates. He is not silent. Throughout the Bible He is communicating to people. We need eyes that can see and ears that can hear. If we have that the spiritual equipment of a genuine believer, we can receive what God is saying. That includes what He communicated while His Son suffered on the cross. On Sunday morning we will be looking at Matthew 27:45-50. The title of the message is “The Love of God and the Cross of Christ.” Other verses that will prepare you for this interesting time in God’s Word are Isaiah 5:30, Galatians 3:13-14, and Luke 23:46. May the Lord bless our worship and fellowship together. May the Lord provide the guidance, comfort, and instruction that you need as He communicates to you. God bless you and stay close to Jesus. Because of the Cross, Pastor...

“The Crucifixion of Jesus: Part II” – September 4th, 2024

“The Crucifixion of Jesus: Part II” – September 4th, 2024

Dear Church Family, Life isn’t fair. The best team doesn’t always win. The best person doesn’t always get the job. The truth doesn’t always prevail. Good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people. The most unfair event in human history happened long ago. Jesus dying on the cross is the ultimate example of life not being fair. On Sunday morning we will be continuing in our study of the book of Matthew. Our text is Matthew 27:38-44. The title of the message is “The Crucifixion of Jesus: Part 2.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God Word are Psalm 22:6-8, Lamentation 2:15, and I Peter 3:18. May the Lord give us a greater love for Him and His sacrifice on our behalf. This evening at 7:00 pm we restart our Wednesday night ministries. There something for everyone.  On Saturday at 6:00 pm we will enjoy volleyball and a bonfire behind the church parking lot. May the Lord bless these events and Sunday morning as we serve the One who loved us and gave Himself for us. In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...

“Making Fun of Jesus” – August 14th, 2024

“Making Fun of Jesus” – August 14th, 2024

Dear Church Family, Nobody likes it when people make fun of them. Nobody likes to be insulted. Nobody likes to be ridiculed. Nobody likes to be mocked. It’s especially frustrating when we are innocent and have done nothing to trigger the deluge of daggers. That was the prelude to our Lord’s death on the cross. On Sunday morning we will be looking at Matthew 27:27-31. The title of the message is “Making Fun of Jesus.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are Psalm 35:15-16,  Matthew 20:18-19, and Romans 14:11-12. May God bless our time in this holy portion of His Word. May your heat be filled with joy and awe as you reflect on what Jesus went through for you. God bless you and stay close to Jesus! All for Jesus, Pastor...

“What Shall I Do With Jesus?” – August 7th, 2024

Dear Church Family, Everyone has important decisions to make. Some are more important than others. Do I go to college? Which college do I attend? Should I marry? Who should I marry? The title of the message is “What Shall I Do With Jesus?” Other verses that will give you a sneak peek preview of the message are Deuteronomy 30:18-20, Matthew 7:13-14, and  John 5:39-45. “Proving the Innocence of Jesus” – July 31st, 2024

“Proving the Innocence of Jesus” – July 31st, 2024

Dear Church Family, It is a wonderful feeling to be innocent in the eyes of God. He knows all things including whether we are guilty or innocent of any accusation. It can be much more difficult to prove our innocence before people. People don’t know everything, may be biased, and may not want the truth to prevail. Innocence before God is one thing. Innocence before man is another. On Sunday we will see that the Spotless One was innocent before God and man. Our text is Matthew 27:11-14. The title of the message is “Proving the Innocence of Jesus.” Other verses that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are 2 Chronicles 24:20-22, Luke 23:5, and I Timothy 6:13. I am looking forward to sharing God’s Word and enjoying being with you on Sunday morning. May the God of truth find you to be pure and innocent in His sight. God bless you and have a marvelous day! In His Matchless Grace, Pastor...
